For quality and convenience, usually yes. The extension saves the stream itself, so there is no glare, no tilt and no background noise, and the file is already on your computer. A phone does have the advantage of needing nothing installed.

Can I use the YPMate downloader on my phone or tablet?

No. It is a desktop browser extension and needs Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Whale or Yandex on Windows, macOS or Linux. Mobile browsers cannot run it.

Does it record YPMate private chats?

No. When a performer goes private, that paid session is not something the extension can capture. It works with the free public shows anyone in the room can see.

Can I start recording halfway through a show?

Where are the files saved, and what are they called?
