Where will my downloaded videos be stored?

Files will be saved into a dedicated Javhub folder. The browser's download list will show progress, and completed MP4 files will be kept on your device for later viewing.

What video format will the downloader handle?

The downloader is being built to work with MP4 video from JAVHub. The file will remain in MP4 format without any conversion, ready for a compatible video player.

Can I download more than one video at a time?

The extension is intended to download one video at a time. While a download is in progress, you will stay focused on the current JAVHub page until it completes.

Will I need to leave the video page to download?

No, the design aims to keep you on the current video page. The download button will be placed on the player, and the toolbar popup is planned as another access point.

Is the extension expected to work on my browser?

It is planned for Windows, Mac, Linux, Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Whale, and Yandex. The final supported list will be confirmed when the product is released.

Will the downloader require an account or login?

The extension will function only while you are visiting a JAVHub video page. It is designed to save content you can already access in your browser without additional authentication.

How will I know the download is progressing?

You will be able to follow progress in the browser's download list. The planned design uses the browser's built-in download system, so status updates will appear there.

Will downloaded MP4 files play on my device?

Completed MP4 files are expected to be playable with a compatible video player. Since the format stays as-is, no extra conversion will be needed for standard playback.

Use JAVHub Downloader only for videos you own or have permission to save. Respect the platform and creators, and do not redistribute downloaded videos without the necessary rights.

Reliable for large files

Full-length JAVHub titles download cleanly even on my mediocre internet. The checkpoint retry has saved me from restarting multi-gigabyte files at least half a dozen times.

Verified zero telemetry

Confirmed with Wireshark that there are no outbound connections besides the JAVHub CDN. Zero telemetry, fully local. This is how download tools should work.
