Does it capture sound on a Mac?

Yes. Audio is part of the stream the extension saves, so the file has sound on macOS just as on Windows or Linux. You do not need any extra audio software.

Why not just use the Mac's built-in screen recording for TSMate?

The Screenshot toolbar records your screen but does not capture system sound on its own, and anything that pops up on screen ends up in the video. The extension saves the stream with its audio and leaves the rest of your desktop out.

Can I record a private TSMate show?

No. Private and paid sessions are not supported. It works with the free public shows anyone in the room can watch.

Can I record a performer while they are offline, or get older TSMate shows?

No. The extension only records live broadcasts, starting when you begin recording. Offline profiles and past shows cannot be captured.

Does the TSMate site language matter?

No. Whether you browse tsmate.com in English or one of its other languages, such as German, French or Portuguese, the recording controls work the same way.

How sharp will a recorded TSMate show look?

You pick from the qualities the room is broadcasting, listed in the popup. Results depend on the performer's camera and connection.

Can I close the tab once it is recording?

No. The room tab has to stay open until you press Stop, because that is where the stream is being captured.

About TS Mate Video Downloader

Fans of trans cam performers know the routine on TSMate: the model you follow streams when life allows, not on a timetable, so the show you have been waiting for can start and finish while you are still deciding whether to stay up. This extension lets you save TSMate shows the moment they matter, as video files you can rewatch whenever you like.

Once installed, every public room on tsmate.com shows a Download button inside its player; click it and choose a quality to begin. The toolbar popup offers a closer look, with the room name, the qualities on offer, Start and Stop, and a timer counting the length of your recording.
