About Nasty Cast Video Downloader

A cast on NastyCast plays out in real time: the performer goes live, the public room fills up, and when the broadcast ends you cannot count on a rerun. Some viewers go as far as building a capture rig with a second computer to keep shows. If you simply want to record a NastyCast live show, there is a much lighter option. This extension records the public cast directly from the room you are watching and saves it as an MP4.

On nastycast.com, open a public room while the cast is on air. The extension adds a Download button to the video player; click it, pick a quality from the menu that opens, and the recording gets going. The toolbar popup carries Start and Stop, plus the room name, a menu of the qualities the cast is streaming and a counter showing elapsed time. If it is easier, right-click the page and pick Download Nasty Cast Stream. Press Stop in the popup or the X on the on-page progress panel when you have enough, or let the recording close itself when the cast ends.

Each file is an MP4 holding H.264 video and AAC audio, named after the room and saved to a NASTYCAST folder in Downloads. Because the extension saves the stream rather than re-capturing a monitor signal, the quality you select is the quality you keep, and the audio comes straight from the room. File assembly happens inside your browser. Recordings never go to SERP servers, and the extension has no ads or trackers.

NastyCast viewers can run it in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Whale or Yandex on Windows, macOS and Linux, with no extra hardware. Three recordings are free after you sign in with email, without a card, and the subscription then costs $17 a month; cancel at any time. Leave the tab open until you press Stop. Public casts that are live can be saved; private ones cannot.
