About Hot Cams Video Downloader

Gamers know instant-replay tools that keep the last few minutes of whatever was on screen. Point that kind of tool at a cam room and end up with a short clip of a long show. The Hotcams recorder works differently. Press Start in a public room on hotcams.com and it records the broadcast continuously, from that moment until you stop or the show ends, so you keep the whole thing rather than a fragment.

Every public Hotcams room that is live shows a Download button on the player that opens a quality menu. The extension's popup in your toolbar shows the room name, lets you choose among the qualities the performer is streaming, and holds Start, Stop and a timer. You can also right-click inside the room and choose Download Hot Cams Stream. If the performer finishes before you do, the recording closes itself and saves.

The recording becomes one MP4, H.264 video and AAC audio, built by your browser on your own computer. It is not uploaded to SERP, and the extension has no ads or tracking.
