Why can't a tube downloader save Cam Tube Mate shows?

Tube downloaders fetch finished, uploaded videos. Cam Tube Mate rooms are live broadcasts, so they need to be recorded while they stream, which is what this extension does.

If there is no link to paste, how does a Cam Tube Mate show get saved?

Open a public room that is live, then click Download on the player and pick a quality, or choose one in the popup and press Start. Press Stop in the popup, or the X on the progress panel, and the MP4 is saved.

Does the Cam Tube Mate downloader work in Italian?

Yes. camtubemate.com can be browsed in Italian and several other languages, and the Download button behaves the same in each.

Are Cam Tube Mate private sessions recordable too?

No. The recorder sticks to public camtubemate.com broadcasts. Private, exclusive, ticketed and spy shows, as well as hidden rooms, are excluded.

Where will my recording be?

Look under Downloads for CAMTUBEMATE. Each MP4 in there carries the name of the room it came from, so it sits alongside any other downloaded videos.

Can I choose the resolution?

You can choose among the qualities the room is streaming, listed in the popup and in the player's Download menu. The performer's stream sets the maximum.

Is there sound in the file?

Yes. Audio is captured with the picture and saved inside the MP4.

Does it work on Android like tube downloader apps?

No. It is for desktop Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Whale and Yandex on Windows, macOS and Linux. Android, iPhone, Firefox and Safari are not supported.

Three recordings are free after an email sign-in, no card needed. After that it is $17 per month, which you can cancel anytime.

About Cam Tube Mate Video Downloader

The name Cam Tube Mate sounds a lot like the tube downloader apps people use to save uploaded videos, so it is natural to search for a Cam Tube Mate downloader expecting the same thing. The rooms on this site are different: they are live, public broadcasts with no finished file waiting to be fetched. This extension handles that properly by recording the live show as it plays and saving it to your computer as an MP4.

Open camtubemate.com, step into a public room where a performer is live, and you will see a new Download button on the player. Click it and choose a quality from its menu to begin. The extension's toolbar popup is there if you want to check the room name, pick from the qualities being streamed, use Start or Stop and watch a timer. A right-click on the page offers Download Cam Tube Mate Stream as another starting point. The recording finishes when you press Stop in the popup or the X on the page's progress panel, or when the performer ends the show.

The saved file is an MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio, named after the room and placed in a CAMTUBEMATE folder in Downloads. So the end result looks just like what you would expect from a tube download, a single playable video, except it comes from a live room. Quality is selected from the stream's own list. Recordings are never uploaded to SERP servers; the work is done in your browser, which runs the extension free of ads and tracking.

It is a desktop extension for Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Whale and Yandex on Windows, macOS and Linux; Italian viewers can browse the site in Italian and record the same way. The trial is 3 recordings with an email sign-in and no card, followed by $17 per month, cancel anytime. Keep the room tab open during recording, and remember it saves public broadcasts in progress, nothing private or finished.
