How do I download a CamModels stream to my computer?

Open a live public room, then click Download on the player and pick a quality, choose a quality and press Start in the toolbar popup, or use the Download CamModels Stream item in the right-click menu. Press Stop in the popup or the X on the page's progress panel to finish, and the MP4 lands in your Downloads folder.

Is this the same as the cammodel.com recorder?

No. This product is built for cammodels.com, the plural address. The singular cammodel.com site has its own separate recorder.

Can I save CamModels private shows or recorded videos?

No. Only free public rooms that are live right now can be recorded. Private shows, ticketed events, past broadcasts and saved clips are not supported.

What happens if the CamModels model goes offline during my recording?

The recording ends on its own and the file is finalized, the same as if you had pressed Stop. You get a desktop notification when it is saved.

What format are the files?

MP4, with H.264 video and AAC audio, assembled inside your browser. That combination plays in VLC, the Windows media apps, QuickTime and most other players.

How long can a single recording be?

It keeps going until you press Stop or the broadcast ends. Very long sessions simply produce larger files, so make sure you have free disk space.
