What file format will my downloaded videos be in?

The extension is intended to save videos as MP4 files using the original video title, preserving the source quality without any transcoding or server-side conversion.

Can I see download progress for each video?

A sequential queue is planned with live progress bars, speed readouts, and estimated time remaining for each file, keeping you informed throughout the download.

What happens if my internet connection drops during a download?

Interrupted transfers are expected to resume at the byte level, so the download will pick up where it left off instead of starting over from the beginning.

Will I be notified when a download finishes?

A desktop notification is being developed to alert you the moment each queued download completes successfully.

Is any data about my downloads sent to external servers?

The extension is being built with zero telemetry, meaning no usage data, analytics, or external logging will ever leave your machine.

What browsers are planned to be supported?

It is intended to work on Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, and Opera on desktop. Safari and mobile browsers are not planned for support.

Can I download age-verified content if I have access?

Yes, if you can view the video in your browser session, the extension will be able to detect and download it without requiring separate credentials.

How do I start using YepTube Downloader when it's available?

You would visit a YepTube video page, click the toolbar icon to see resolution options with size estimates, pick your quality, and save the MP4 locally.

Use YepTube Downloader only for videos you own or have permission to save. Respect the platform and creators, and do not redistribute downloaded videos without the necessary rights.

About YepTube Downloader

YepTube videos can vanish overnight—platform cycles, removals, or restrictions hit without notice. YepTube Downloader secures them before they’re gone. Open any video page, and the extension automatically detects streams, showing all resolution tiers with estimated file sizes before you commit.

Pick your quality, and it saves the original MP4 with the video’s title as the file name. No transcoding, no server-side conversion—just the exact stream delivered to your device. A notification confirms when the download finishes, so you can build a library completely offline.

Miss a connection? Automatic byte-level resume picks up where you left off, and sequential queuing with live progress bars keeps everything organized. All activity stays private on your machine—zero telemetry, no external logging. Archive today and watch on your terms.

Perfect solution for disappearing content

YepTube content rotates so fast that bookmarks are useless half the time. Now I just download anything worth keeping. The queue makes it painless when I find a string of good clips.

Truly private adult video saving

Privacy was the deciding factor for me. No cloud, no logging, no weird redirects. Just a straight download from YepTube to my drive. Exactly what I was looking for.

Reliable even on spotty connections

Solid extension. The auto-resume feature saved me when my Wi-Fi cut out during a large file. Picked right back up without losing a byte. File naming is a nice bonus too.
