About ChocoCams Video Downloader
ChocoCams is built for browsing. You can pick rooms from a world map, filter by female, male, couples or trans performers, dig through a long list of tags, and switch the site between English, German and Russian. It invites hopping from room to room until something holds your attention. The ChocoCams recorder is designed for that moment: without leaving the room or opening another program, start recording and the public show you are watching is saved.
You can begin from any of three places. The extension adds a Download button to the ChocoCams player with a single Record current player stream option, a toolbar popup showing the room with Start, Stop and a timer, and a Download ChocoCams Stream item in the right-click menu. It records until you press Stop in the popup or the X on the progress panel. If the performer wraps up first, it stops on its own, and the file is kept.
Each recording is a WebM file containing VP9 video and Opus audio. The extension captures the stream as the ChocoCams player plays it, so quality follows the player rather than a separate menu. Files are saved directly into your Downloads folder, with no subfolder, and named after the performer on the page. Recording happens inside your browser and recordings are never uploaded; the extension has no advertising or analytics.
Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Whale and Yandex are supported on Windows, macOS and Linux computers. Sign in with an email and the first 3 recordings are free with no card; after that it costs $17 per month, and you can cancel at any time. Only public rooms that are live can be recorded; private shows and past broadcasts are outside its scope.
