About Camster Video Downloader

When a public room is broadcasting, start recording and the show is saved to your computer, whether the performer is a newcomer or a name you already know.

You have three ways to start. The extension places a Download button on the Camster player that opens a quality menu, offers a toolbar popup with the room name, a quality list, Start, Stop and a timer, and adds Download Camster Stream to the right-click menu. It keeps recording until you press Stop in the popup or the X on the progress panel. When the performer ends the broadcast first, the extension stops there and saves the file without waiting for you.

Every recording is an MP4 made of H.264 video and AAC audio, assembled in your browser. Quality comes from the options the room is broadcasting, picked by you before Start.
