Yes, it is planned to list available quality levels with details like resolution and file size. You will be able to pick the version that best fits your needs before the download begins.

Will I be able to download multiple videos at once?

A queue feature is being built so you can line up several videos. The extension will then process them one after another, keeping progress organized and handling any interruptions.

What happens if a download is interrupted?

The downloader is intended to include retry logic and resumable transfers. If your connection drops, it will aim to pick up where it left off once the browser is back online.

Where will downloaded videos be saved on my computer?

Files will be saved to your browser's default download folder, just like any other download. The extension is not planned to change this location or store files elsewhere.

Which browsers will Brightcove Video Downloader support?

It is being developed for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, and Opera on desktop. Safari and mobile browsers will not be supported when the extension launches.
