About WorldStarHipHop Downloader

WorldStarHipHop is a firehose of culture, but nothing stays on the front page forever. Links break, videos get pulled, and your favorite moments can vanish overnight. This extension lets you build a permanent, offline library of the content that matters to you.

When you visit any video page, the downloader automatically detects the embedded player and extracts the direct media URL. With one click, you save an MP4 file in the highest quality available, complete with a filename generated from the video's title. No converters, no screen recording, no middlemen.

Everything happens locally on your machine. The video data flows straight from WSHH to your downloads folder, so your collection stays private. Whether it's a legendary interview or a street footage gem, you can keep it forever.

Finally reliable WSHH downloads

WSHH links break all the time and I got tired of losing clips I wanted to reference later. This extension just works — click, download, done. File naming from the video title is a nice touch too.

Great for music video research

I DJ and use WSHH for finding new tracks with music video premieres. Being able to save the video locally means I can reference it later without hoping the link still works. Quality is solid.

Simple and ad-free

Clean interface, no ads in the extension itself, and the progress bar actually works. The open the extension option makes it smooth while browsing. Exactly what WSHH needed.
