How will batch downloading work for multiple files?

A batch mode is being developed to let you select and queue several media items from a single page at once, instead of downloading each one individually. The progress panel will track every file separately.

What video quality options will be available?

The downloader is intended to list all quality tiers that QQ makes available for a video, and you will be able to choose your preferred resolution. It will then save the video at that quality level.

Will Chinese filenames be saved correctly?

Yes, filenames with Chinese characters are expected to be preserved with full Unicode and CJK support, so they will save correctly on Windows, macOS, and Linux without corruption or replacement characters.

How will the download progress be tracked?

A progress panel is being designed to show per-file tracking with speed, file size, and estimated completion time, so you can monitor each download as it happens.

What happens if my internet connection drops during a download?

An automatic retry engine is planned to resume downloads from the last byte received if a connection drops, so you will not need to start over from the beginning.

Which browsers will the extension support?

It is intended to be compatible with Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, and Opera on all desktop systems, covering the major browsers used to access QQ web services.

Does the tool need my QQ login credentials?

No, the extension is designed to use your existing QQ web session in the browser without storing or transmitting your credentials, keeping your account details safe.
