About Imgur Downloader
Imgur albums aren’t permanent—purges and broken links can erase your favorite collections overnight. This tool detects every image and GIF on a page, including those embedded on Reddit and forums, then grabs them at full quality.
You don’t get compressed thumbnails. The extension extracts direct source URLs, so you save exactly what was uploaded. Albums download into folders named after their titles, keeping your archive tidy without extra effort.
Whether it’s a single post or a massive gallery, you can preview and pick the images you want. Duplicate detection skips files you’ve already saved, making it easy to back up new content without redundancy.

Recent customer feedback
Short, practical feedback from people using Imgur Downloader in real workflows.
Saved what was left after the purge
I had hundreds of bookmarked Imgur albums from years of browsing Reddit. After the 2023 purge killed half of them, I used this to archive everything that was left. Album folder naming makes browsing the local copies painless.

Original quality makes a real difference
The full-resolution downloads are the selling point for me. Imgur compresses images hard on their thumbnails, but this pulls the original uploads. My reference photo collection finally looks crisp.

Being able to open the extension Imgur embeds directly on Reddit without going to the Imgur page is such a smooth workflow. I save interesting images as I browse without breaking my reading flow.
